Nonprofit organizations and community partnerships seeking funding to address local needs now have the opportunity to apply for support, as United Way of Marshall County has opened its 2026 Community Impact Grant application process.
All grant applications must be submitted by Monday, June 22nd.
United Way Community Impact Grants are designed to invest in organizations and collaborative initiatives working to advance four key priority areas across Marshall County: health, youth opportunity, financial stability, and basic needs. The grants support community-driven solutions that strengthen local resilience, close service gaps, and improve outcomes for individuals and families throughout the county.
United Way emphasizes that building a stronger community requires more than responding to immediate needs. The grants are also intended to fund partnerships, innovation, organizational capacity, and coordinated approaches that create lasting, long-term impact. Funding may support operational or program needs, collaborative initiatives, or innovative approaches that align with broader community goals and address the underlying social determinants of health.
Applications are open to individual nonprofit organizations as well as collaborative community partnerships. Those interested can apply at www.marshallcountyuw.org/CommunityImpactGrant by clicking on "United Way Community Impact Grant Application."
Funding for the grants is made possible through multiple sources, including proceeds from the Marshall County Blueberry Half Pot, Indiana United Ways, and the United Way annual campaign.
Community members wishing to support these efforts can donate https://www.marshallcountyuw.org/donate.
