The city of Sumner has announced that petition forms are now available to anyone who wishes to run for office in the consolidated election in April of 2027.
They can be picked up at the Sumner City Hall located at 224 South Christy Avenue during regular business hours Monday through Friday. There are three positions up for election-Alderman Ward 1 (4-year term), Alderman Ward 2 (4-year term), and Alderman Ward 3 (4-year term).
