The Indiana State Police and Indiana Troopers Youth Services have announced their 2026 Summer Camp Programs, offering a variety of educational and career exploration opportunities for young people across the state.
The comprehensive program includes specialized camps for different age groups, from middle school students to high schoolers interested in law enforcement careers.
Pioneer Camps are for students ages 11-14 and is by recommendation only. Two Pioneer Camps will be offered for younger participants: June 8-11 at Mounds Park, and June 29-July 2 at Mollenhour.
Law Camps are for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Middle school students can attend one of two Law Camps designed to introduce them to law enforcement concepts and career paths: July 7-11 in Columbus, and June 28-July 1 in Anderson.
Career Camps are for high school students who are serious about exploring law enforcement careers. The ISP camp offers three intensive Career Camp options: the Vincennes Career Camp from June 21-26, the Trine Career Camp in Angola from July 5-10, and the Anderson Law Camp from June 21-27.
A special program called the Shield Project will be held at Anderson College June 3-7.
The Indiana State Police Summer Camp Programs provide young people with hands-on experience and education about law enforcement, public safety, and related careers. Participants gain valuable insights into the daily operations of state troopers, learn about leadership and teamwork, and develop important life skills.
The camps offer a unique opportunity for youth to interact with Indiana State Police troopers and other law enforcement professionals in a supportive, educational environment.
Interested families and students can find complete information about all summer camp programs through the following channels: www.itrooper.org or email youthservice@isp.in.gov. You can also call 1-317-951-3888 or check out the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ISPYOUTHCAMP
