After an investigation at the request of the Olney Police Department (OPD) and Richland County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO), the Illinois State Police arrested Dylan M. Jones, 25, of Olney, in connection with a double homicide.
On Tuesday, OPD and RCSO officers responded to two homes in the 400 block of East Monroe Street in Olney. Officers found two deceased individuals in separate homes, 52-year-old John D.
