It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Dana.

The Dana Community Boosters have been hard at work getting things ready for the Dana Festival of Lights, which will be held Monday, Dec. 1.

"The Lighted Parade is a crowd favorite and what has really built our event, but there is so much more," said Lindsey Bishop, Dana Festival of Lights Committee Chair.

Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and the Lighted Parade begins at 7 p.m. Once the parade is finished, spectators can have a chance to see all the floats and lights up close. In addition to the parade, there will be horse drawn wagon rides, visits with Mrs. Claus and Santa, cookies and cocoa, kids crafts, a live animal nativity scene from Hobson's farm, restaurants open and the Ernie Pyle World War II Museum will also be open to the general public.
