The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge closure that will impact State Road 32 in Fountain County.
Beginning on or after Wednesday, April 15, INDOT contractors will close the S.R. 32 bridge over Prairie Creek, located between County Road 170 W. and C.R. 280 W., approximately 3 miles west of U.S. 41. The purpose of the closure is to perform bridge scour protection.
Construction is anticipated to last until June but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure follows S.R. 32 to S.R. 63 to I-74 to U.S. 41, back to S.R. 32.
