The all-time winningest coach in Richland County High School is headed across the state border.
Rob Flanagan replaces Dave Mahurin who stepped down after four seasons at Vincennes Lincoln. Recently, Mahurin became the new head boys basketball coach at his alma mater, Terre Haute South.
Flanagan was 477-298 in 27 seasons in Olney. The Tigers finished third in the IHSA state tournament in 2008. Altogether, he stands at 598 wins entering the next boys basketball season.
