The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross Country girls will be represented in sectional competition Saturday, October 31st.
Three runners qualified for the race by virtue of their finishes as individuals in the Class 1A Cross Country Regional held Saturday on the campus of Lake Land College in Mattoon and hosted by Toledo (Cumberland).
Freshman Addison Thacker finished 7th in a time of 19:42.1, sophomore Lexi Brooke was 10th in 20:05.4, and senior Laurel Buchanon 28th in 22:19.6. Elia Stoltz also competed at the regional and finished 61st in a time of 30:05.8 but will not advance.
