It was a good day on the road Saturday for the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians.
They won three games to capture the Farina (South Central) Tournament. They beat the hosts 13-2 in their opening game and then won their second game over New Athens 5-1 to make it to the championship game.
The Lady Indians then won a thriller 6-5 in 9 innings over Altamont to win the title. With the three wins, the squad is now 6-5 on the season and will return to action Tuesday on the road at Hutsonville-Palestine.
