The Lawrenceville baseball Indians attempted to rally late but came up short in an 8-7 non-conference loss Tuesday to the North Knox Warriors at Bicknell.
The host Warriors led 8-3 after three innings, but the Indians chipped away at the lead before running out of outs to suffer their 6th loss in a row. North Knox scored 8 runs on 8 hits and committed 3 errors on the day while the Indians scored 7 runs on 10 hits and made 3 errors.
The Tribe are now 2-11 overall and are scheduled to host North Central Wednesday in a non-conference contest at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
