The Vincennes Police Department has announced that two suspects are now in custody in connection with recent scams at city businesses last week.
On Friday, April 17th, reports were received about juvenile children dressed in football gear visiting locations claiming to be fundraising for equipment accompanied by either a white male or female.
After an investigation, the male and female involved were arrested. They were identified as 37-year-old Amanda Marie Peyregne and 47-year-old Andrew David Peyregne both of Mobile, Alabama. They have been preliminarily charged with 2 counts each of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor a Level 6 Indiana felony and 2 counts each of Theft, a Class A Indiana misdemeanor.
Both were booked into the Knox County Jail and were being held there pending the setting of bond.
