Curator Victoria Shinkle has announced that she will present "Portraits of People You Hate", an exhibition at Open Gallery in Vincennes, Indiana in early September.
Beginning on Friday, September 4th, the exhibit will explore hatred and its impact on the art making process. Works from eight artists using sculpture, photography, painting and a variety of other media to create a representation of the person, or people, they hate the most will be on display.
The exhibition will open on September 4th with a reception from 5 until 8 p.m. EST. The Open Gallery has operating hours Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. EST and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. EST. Admission is free.
