The cause of a residential structure fire in Vincennes remains under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshalls Office.
Vincennes city firefighters were called out Monday around 3:15 p.m. to the fire location at 1605 Audobon Street and discovered the home ablaze. They were able to bring the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes and remained on the scene for two hours guarding against hot spots rekindling.
There were no reported injuries, and a firm damage estimate has not been released.
