Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors LP. will close State Road 9 entrance ramp to I-70 eastbound in Greenfield.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, at 9 p.m. crews will close the S.R. 9 entrance ramp to I-70 eastbound for a new traffic configuration. This new traffic configuration will take two lanes of I-70 eastbound and shift them to I-70 westbound. Crews will maintain two travel lanes of I-70 in each direction. Under the new traffic configuration, crews will complete demolition and paving work for the I-70 added travel lanes.
Work is expected to continue through mid August, weather permitting.
The official detour for this work is I-70 westbound to Mt. Comfort Road to I-70 eastbound.
