The REES Theatre will present a double-feature bluegrass concert this Thursday, December 18, featuring performances by the Backwoods Bluegrass Band and the Blue Holler Band Trio as part of its Thirsty Thursday Concert Series.
The 7 p.m. show will showcase two acts known for their traditional bluegrass sound and American roots music stylings. The evening promises a blend of acoustic instrumentation, vocal harmonies, and the genre's characteristic high-energy performance style.
Backwoods Bluegrass Band, recognized for their traditional bluegrass approach combined with narrative songwriting, will share the bill with the Blue Holler Band Trio. The trio has built a reputation for tight vocal harmonies and dynamic acoustic arrangements.
The concert marks a continuation of the REES Theatre's Thirsty Thursday Concert Series, which brings various musical acts to the historic Plymouth venue throughout the season.
