Triton Central quarterback Matthew Wilkins threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 14-7 Homecoming win Friday over visiting Beech Grove.
Henry Kemper and Landon Ball had the two touchdown receptions and the Tigers defense kept the Hornets in check for the Hoosier Legends Conference victory.
Kemper finished the game with seven receptions for 137 yards.
Triton Central improved to 2-2 this season and 1-1 against HLC foes.
Beech Grove suffered its first loss of the season. The Hornets are 3-1 (1-1 HLC).
Tri-West and Indian Creek now sit atop the HLC standings at 2-0. Beech Grove, Speedway, Greenwood and Triton Central are 1-1.
Shelbyville and Monrovia are 0-2.
Triton Central is at Shelbyville (2-2) on Sept. 18.
