Rochester girls golf waited with 16 other teams through a two-hour weather delay before topping the leaderboard with a team score of 339 to capture the Kankakee Valley Invitational at Sandy Pines.

Fellow 2023 state finalist Ava Thomas finished sixth overall as she carded an 82. Teammate Molly Moore shot an 84 to finish eighth overall in her first high school match.
