Morristown’s Jayla Keithley and Waldron’s Grace Fischer were selected All-Mid-Hoosier Conference based on their performance this past season.
Twelve players were named All-MHC.
Keithley, a junior, led the Yellow Jackets in scoring (11.4 ppg), rebounding (7.2 rpg), assists (3 apg) and steals (2.4 spg). Fischer, also a junior, made a successful return to the Waldron lineup after missing her sophomore season with a knee injury.
Also named All-MHC were South Decatur’s Raegan Benge and Taylor Somers, Hauser’s June Berkenstock, Kennedy Konradi and Braelyn Williams, Edinburgh’s Kenna Streeval and Bella Turner, and North Decatur’s Carmen Thackery, Jewel Verseman and Jo Whitaker.
Eight more players were selected Honorable Mention. That list included Morristown’s Brooke Kuhn and Katie Theobald, Waldron’s Emerson Lindsey, and Southwestern’s Claire Utley.
Also named Honorable Mention were South Decatur’s Riley Benge and Dalilah Martin, Edinburgh’s Kinzie Purvis, and Hauser’s Abby Manley.
North Decatur’s Tyler Johnson was named Coach of the Year.
Edinburgh’s Kenna Streeval was selected Most Outstanding Player. The Eastern Kentucky softball commit averaged 17.1 ppg, 5 rpg, 2.8 apg and 4.3 spg.
North Decatur (10-13, 5-1) and South Decatur (10-13, 5-1) shared the conference title. Edinburgh (14-10, 4-2) was runner-up ahead of Hauser (13-11, 3-3), Morristown (10-11, 3-3), Waldron (7-12, 1-5) and Southwestern (3-19, 0-6).
