Illinois State Police (ISP) are currently investigating the death of a two year old child in southeastern Illinois.
Authorities say preliminary information indicates the child died last Friday at a home in Brownsville in White County.
An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death has been scheduled for this week in Springfield.
No other information is being released as the case remains under investigation.
