A 23-year-old Walkerton man is facing multiple charges, including operating while intoxicated, after allegedly running a red traffic light and pulling out in front of other vehicles in Plymouth.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, the incident occurred on the evening of April 15th. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Corporal Schieber initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Jefferson and Center Street after observing a vehicle disregard a red light and create a traffic hazard for other drivers.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Gage Urban, 23, of Walkerton. During the course of the traffic stop, the investigating officer noted signs of impairment. Additionally, a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of suspected marijuana.

Following a chemical test, Urban was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was lodged on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated on a controlled substance, OWI endangerment, and possession of marijuana.
