Vincennes police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding an apparent shooting incident Friday afternoon. Reports indicate that at around 1:15 p.m. ET, officers were dispatched to the area of the Bowman Terrace housing complex in reference to a possible shooting. During the investigation, it was determined that 2 juvenile suspects were allegedly involved and were taken into custody. During the incident, Tecumseh Harrison Elementary School was placed on lockdown until the area was deemed safe. There was no threat to the community.
