The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department after a chase earlier this week arrested a local woman.
On Monday, 49-year-old Chastity Lyle of Lawrenceville was taken into custody by deputies and has been preliminarily charged with Speeding Excessively over the 55 m.p.h. Speed Limit, Fleeing and Eluding Police, Obstruction of Identification, and Obstruction of Justice.
Lyle was transported to the Lawrence County Jail and was later released with a notice to appear in court.
