Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education has called for a special committee session next week.
The Personnel Committee will meet Monday, April 6th at 6 p.m. at Lawrenceville High School. It is anticipated that the committee will enter into executive session to deal with personnel-related matters. Unit 20 Superintendent Doug Daugherty had told GIANT-FM WAKO News recently that the district was still looking to fill the vacant principal's positions at both Lawrenceville High School and Parkview Junior High Schools and were preparing to conduct interviews with potential candidates early in April.
The executive session is not open to the public. Any actions recommended by the committee would have to be approved in open session.
