Toyota has announced that it will invest $1.4 billion preparing for assembly of an all new, three row battery powered electric SUV in the U.S. at the Princeton manufacturing plant located in southwestern Indiana. The investment will provide new plant infrastructure at the location to build the all-new BEV and add a new battery pack assembly line beginning in 2025. This will bring the addition of up to 350 new high quality jobs at Princeton. Toyota Indiana already is home to more than 7500 team employees who assemble the Sienna, Highlander, Grand Highlander and the Lexus TX. Many of those people are from southeastern Illinois
