The city of Sumner has announced that the annual appropriation ordinance which governs city spending is now available for public inspection.
The legislation covers the fiscal year beginning in May of 2026 and ending in April of 2027. It is on file with the City Clerk's office and located on display in the foyer of the Sumner City Hall located at 224 South Christy Avenue during regular business hours.
A public hearing will be held on the ordinance at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday May 12th at the City Hall prior to the regularly scheduled City Council session at 6:30 p.m. Anyone with questions is invited to attend the hearing. Final action will be taken by the council on the ordinance during the meeting.
