The Fulton County Sheriff's Office reports the capture of 37-year-old Ricky A. Snelling Jr., of Rochester.
Law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, had asked for the public's help in locating Snelling, who was wanted on a federal warrant.
Additionally, Snelling faces a local charge of cruelty to an animal, a Class A misdemeanor, after allegedly punching dog multiple times in October 2024. That case is pending in Fulton Superior Court, with a pretrial conference to occur in May.
Snelling was apprehended Monday at 6525 N. State Road 25 near Talma and subsequently booked at the Fulton County Jail.
"The U.S. Marshals and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office want to thank the public for all of their tips," the sheriff's office shared in announcing Snelling's arrest.
