Red Hill Junior/Senior High School in Bridgeport will have a new principal. The Unit #10 Board of Education voted Thursday night to hire Megan Seaton to fill the position. She comes to the district from the Richland County (Olney) school system where she was the assistant Special Education Director. She will replace Kacey Strange. The board also held a required public hearing on the issuance of $4 million in bonds to help finance the South Gymnasium renovation project. A Fiscal Year 2025 tentative amended budget was approved with a hearing date of Wednesday June 18th at 7:15 p.m. Two temporary summer workers were also hired for 2025.
