Congratulations to Dillion Darnell and Addison Dining.
They were announced this week as the Lawrence County winners of the Illinois Sheriffs Association (ISA) scholarships for 2025-26.
They were among 114 students across the state who will receive financial assistance to help cover the cost of attending any accredited college, university or trade school located in Illinois.
The ISA launched the scholarship program back in the year 1979 with awards made each year.
For 2025-26, there was over $58,000 in scholarships given out.
