A traffic stop Thursday led to the arrest of a Knox County Indiana woman by the Illinois State Police in Lawrence County.
Ticketed was 51-year-old Elizabeth McClure of Vincennes for Improper Lighting (One Head Lamp). She was also charged with Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol) and Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle. McClure was taken to the Lawrence County Jail in Lawrenceville and later released with a notice to appear in court.
Lawrenceville Police arrested two subjects after investigation of an apparent incident of theft. 38-year-old Tiffany Nowakowski was preliminarily charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Obstruction of Justice, and 30-year-old Cody Ward was also charged with Possession of Stolen Property. Both were booked into the Lawrence County Jail and were being held there pending detention hearings.
