A new phone app to receive important notifications is available for Vermillion County residents.
Know Now! is offered free to the public. The app will deliver emergency alert notifications from the county's Emergency Management Agency. The public can decide what notifications to receive from tornado and weather watches and warnings to travel advisories and other public safey messages.
The app can also be used to provide information based upon the recipient's location.
