Indiana Department of Transportation will conduct a public open house for a bridge replacement project on U.S. 52 over Sugar Creek in New Palestine.
The proposed project aims to improve safety and drainage on the bridge, between county roads 400 West and 450 West, while adding sidewalks and lighting, according to a press release from INDOT.
The event is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at New Palestine Lions Club, 5242 W. U.S. 52, New Palestine.
The public is invited to learn more about the proposed project and provide feedback to the project team. This meeting is an open house format and does not include a formal presentation. Construction is expected in the spring and summer of 2027.
