Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott recently announced the promotion of Senior Trooper Jonathan Price to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Price earned this promotion through completion of written testing and a competitive interview process.
Price is a graduate of Triton Jr/Sr High School in Bourbon. Following high school, he attended Manchester College, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Sgt. Price was assigned to the Bremen Post following graduation from the Indiana State Police 73rd Recruit Academy in May 2014. During his tenure with the Indiana State Police, Price has served as a background investigator, Field Training Officer (FTO), and been a member of the Honor Guard, Clandestine Lab Team, Tactical Intervention Platoon (TIP), All Crimes Policing Team (ACP), and worked extensively with the Marijuana Eradication Program.
Price has also been recognized for his hard work and dedication by being named the Trooper of the District for the Bremen Post in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019. He has also been recognized for removing drunk drivers from our roadways in Elkhart County in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
In his new role, Sgt. Price will supervise and mentor troopers assigned to the ISP Bremen Post All Crimes Policing Team.
Sgt. Price lives in Kosciusko County with his wife and children.
