On April 27, 2023, Visit Indiana launched the award-winning Home Again IN Indiana campaign to celebrate Hoosier pride by sharing these stories. The campaign tells the story of several Hoosiers who moved away from Indiana at one time or another but eventually wanted to come back. While they all left for different reasons, they all returned for one reason: Indiana offered something that other places couldn't.
"The success of the Home Again IN Indiana campaign highlights the strong connection Hoosiers have with their roots," said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, Indiana’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development. "We are incredibly proud of this achievement and are thrilled to have welcomed these Hoosiers back home."
Home Again Hoosiers credit Indiana's deep community values, the lively downtowns, locally owned businesses and so much more for drawing them back to Indiana. After moving back to Indiana, Home Again Hoosiers found the impact they can make in their communities to be overwhelmingly fulfilling. From business to civic, to culinary arts and hospitality, Home Again Hoosiers draw on their passions to become a part of their communities and improve them while doing so.
