The Lawrence County Board will host a public hearing on Tuesday, December 9th at 4 p.m. in the county board meeting room at the Lawrence County Courthouse at 1100 State Street in Lawrenceville.
County officials have informed GIANT-FM News that the purpose of the hearing is to announce the receipt of funding from an Energy Transition Grant that is being awarded to the county. More details will be forthcoming at the hearing regarding uses for the grant money. There will also be an opportunity for those who attend to ask questions and make comments pertaining to the grant.
