It was a good end to the final chapter of Emily Vigar's 4H career on Friday, when she took home three Supreme Master Showmanship's for sheep, goat and dairy during the 2025 Fulton County 4H Fair. Vigar was presented with a $250 check for the wins before the Spotlight Auction on Friday, July 18.
A ten year member in 4H, Vigar said she's been showing dairy cattle since she was 3-years-old and began showing goat's in Mini 4H at 5-years-old. Her final year showing at the Fulton County 4H Fair, Vigar's passion for working with animals is helping shape her plans for the future. Vigar says she plans on staying home and continue helping at the farms she currently works at while she does online schooling with Fort Hays University out of Fort Hays Kansas to pursue a degree in Ag Business.
Humble about her awards, Vigar said she is thankful for the ten years in 4H, the memories it has brought her, and the life lessons it has taught her.
