The Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education on Wednesday, April 22nd employed two new principals to head Lawrenceville High School and Parkview Junior High School for the 2026-27 school year.
Jennifer Dunn of Hartsville, South Carolina is the new LHS principal. She will be returning to the area as she is a graduate of Olney (Richland County) High School. Dunn is finishing up her third year as Assistant Director at Darlington County Institute in Darlington, South Carolina. Prior to serving as a director, she was a counselor at all levels at schools in South Carolina.
Chelsea Puckett of Olney was chosen as the Parkview Junior High principal. Since 2011, she has taught chemistry and biomedical science at Olney (Richland County) High School while working with the TRIO Upward Bound program, Illinois Eastern Community College, and the East Richland Middle School after school program.
Both Dunn and Puckett will officially begin their new roles in July. Staff and students will have the opportunity to meet the two new administrators later this summer.
