The Marshall County Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
County Clerk Jenny Bennett will update the council on records and collections. The Highway, Job Classification and Compensation, and Budget and Finance Subcommittees will all give reports. The Job Classification and Compensation Subcommittee will present an ordinance amendment for this year’s salary ordinance.
Council members will consider additional and transfer appropriations along with an ordinance to establish a new county fund. They will also approve the Lebbin Law invoice, make an appointment to the County Board of Zoning Appeals, the Plymouth Public Library board, and the First Point of Contact board. There is a resolution to transfer the Congressional School Funds to the State, and an opportunity for the public to ask questions and make comments.
The County Council meetings are open to the public and streamed live on the county’s YouTube channel.
