All the dollars and cents have been counted from the 2025 “Pink Out” game at Triton Central.
The Indiana Women In Need foundation (IWIN) will receive $17,000 from Triton Central – all earmarked to first go to Shelby County women and their families battling breast cancer.
“I want to start by saying a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ for all the help and support that the Triton Central school district and community provides for this wonderful event,” said Triton Central athletic director and girls basketball coach Bryan Graham in an email announcing the donation. “We have people showing up at school first thing in the morning on game day to help make this activity happen. This event shows just how caring and giving our community really is and how we embrace tough situations and turn them into positive experiences.”
In 17 years conducting a Pink Out game, Triton Central’s girls basketball program has now raised $270, 943 to help fight breast cancer.
“The work we accomplish with this event truly does affect the ladies we recognize (hundreds of survivors throughout the years) in ways that most of us will never understand.”
