The Town of Rockville Council has approved an increase of the minimum sanitary sewer / wastewater usage fee.
No comments were offered during the public hearing before the vote. Council member Chris McCann was not at the meeting while council member David Brown was the only member not to vote for the increase.
The minimum fee was increased from $60.61 to $75.61.
An ordinance will also be drafted that will set a fee of $20 on water used on lawns and gardens and won’t go into the sewer.
