The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure north of Stilesville in connection with a local project.
Beginning on or after Monday, April 13, crews will close the County Road 550 W. bridge over the east fork of Mill Creek, located around a half mile north of Stilesville and U.S. 40. The purpose of the closure is to replace the bridge with a new reinforced concrete slab bridge.
Construction is anticipated to last until September but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure follows U.S. 40 west to C.R. 625 W. to C.R. 600 S.
