A Marshall County homeowner called the Sheriff’s Department just after 4 a.m. Saturday morning August 17th telling them a vehicle was stopped in their front yard.
Deputy Matt Geiger responded and located the driver asleep in the driver's seat. It was determined the driver, John Drews, 43, of West County Line Road, had been drinking. Field Sobriety tests and a certified test found John Drews to be intoxicated.
He was taken for the certified breath test and gave a breath sample of .155%. He was then arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, lodged in the county jail, and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
