The Culver community is rallying around the Barth family as 19-year-old Grace Barth is recovering from severe injuries she sustained in a single-vehicle crash early New Year’s Day.
Grace is the daughter of Dan and Suzanne Barth. She has been in Memorial Hospital in South Bend since the accident on January 1st and was transferred to a Chicago rehab center last week. Grace is also the granddaughter of former Marshall County Commissioner Kevin Overmyer and Melodie Overmyer, the Social Service Director for Pilgrim Manor.
A recent Facebook post from the Barth family said many people have inquired how they can help. There are several ways that people in Marshall County can help this family. First, they ask for prayers. Donations may be made to the GRACE BARTH FUND at any 1st Source Bank location.
T-shirts are available at Black Cat Clothing Co. in downtown Plymouth, at the Burr Oak Whistle Stop on State Road 17, and online through Brittany Flosenzier. The Team Grace shirts are $20 and can be found at www.rowanandgrace.com.

This Thursday, January 23rd, starting at 5 p.m., Fridas in Culver, 18571 State Road 10, will donate 20% of all dine-in, carry-out, and delivery food to Grace Barth and her family. They also have a donation box you can drop additional donations into.
A fundraiser is happening during the Senior Night basketball game on January 30th at Culver High School. They will have a bake sale, a 50/50 drawing, and a pulled pork and mac and cheese dinner special.
A donation box has also been placed at Ace Hardware in Culver.
On February 8th, Robs Grill will be at the Culver Winterfest! Hands down, it's the best BBQ around. They will be donating 20% of their sales to the Barth family.
More events will happen, and we will announce them soon.
