Marshall County 911 Dispatcher earns National Recognition for Excellence

Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel is proud to recognize one of the department's own this month, as 911 Dispatcher Asia Francis has earned a prestigious national honor for her commitment to professional development and emergency services.

Francis has been awarded the National Recognition for Excellence in Dispatching through the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), a distinguished achievement presented to dispatchers who have completed at least three advanced dispatch courses within a two-year period.

Sheriff Hassel congratulated Francis on the accomplishment, noting that the recognition reflects not only her personal dedication but also the department's broader commitment to maintaining a highly trained dispatch team.

"Training is a top priority for our 911 dispatchers, and we take great pride in recognizing these individuals for their hard work and dedication," Hassel said. "Receiving this recognition shows that our dispatchers are highly trained and will always strive to provide exceptional emergency services to the communities we serve."

Francis received her certificate from NENA and was also presented with a Marshall County Dispatch challenge coin in recognition of her achievement.
