Saturday, September 7th, Plymouth Police were dispatched to Walmart for a theft.
At about 1:30 in the afternoon, Walmart Loss Prevention stopped Heather Manns, 45, who lives at the Economy Inn, for suspicion of theft. When Officer Lovely arrived, he found several items in her purse and concealed inside her clothing.
All the items were recovered from Manns and returned to the Walmart store.
Heather Manns was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where she was lodged for theft, a level 6 felony, due to a prior conviction. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
