The Red Hill Unit 10 Board of Education continued to make improvements to it's schools. Meeting in regular session Thursday night in Bridgeport, they approved just over $7700 to Halstead Plumbing of Evansville for the replacement of a 50 gallon kitchen water heater at Red Hill Jr/Sr High School in Bridgeport and approximately $25,000 to Alliant Mechanical Services of Evansville for repairs to the problematic south gym boiler at the high school. Both actions were taken upon recommendation of the Building and Grounds Committee. The board did set the date for the Red Hill Junior High promotion ceremony on Friday May 17th at 4:30 p.m. In personnel matters, the board accepted letters of resignation from two junior high coaches--Amanda Evinger as head girls softball coach and Katie Bell as head girls track coach.
