Triton Central’s Zeke Robertson arrived at Indianapolis North Central High School Friday with the 19th fastest regional time in the 300-meter hurdles.
The Triton Central rising senior left the IHSAA Boys Track and Field State Championship Meet just .38 seconds off a podium finish.
Robertson lowered his own school record with a time of 39.10 seconds, which left him in 11th place. He was .16 seconds faster than his regional time (39.26), also a school record.
New Haven’s Aaron Hoffer finished 10th in 39.09. Homestead’s Braylin Tisdale secured the final podium finish, taking ninth in 38.72.
Franklin Central’s Rylan Hainje set a new state meet record after crossing the finish line in 35.82 seconds. Six of the top 10 finishers were seniors.
Robertson will seek a third consecutive state finals appearance in 2026.
