Plunkett breaks 1000 point mark as Glenn moves on with win over CGA WALKERTON - The Glenn Lady Falcons survived the first round of sectional play against Culver Academy taking a 44-22 win. Despite a slow start and being down two at the quarter, the Falcons rallied to a victory. The Falcons were led by Mariah Plunkett with 19 points. Plunkett surpassed the 1000 point mark when she hit her 17th point during the fourth quarter. Mariah is now only the sixth player in school history to score 1000 points. Other scorers for the Falcons were McKenzie Hudgen with 14 and Bethany Hayden with four. Morgan Plunkett added three, while Seja Lang chipped in two. Evie Frutkin led CGA with eight. Sydney Herczeg added seven. The Lady Eagles end their season at 6-13.
