Lady Pilgrims pick up win LAKEVILLE — The Pilgrim Softball team came up big late in the contest Thursday night in downing Laville 7-5 in eight innings. The game was tied 4-4 after seven innings. Winning pitcher Grace Allmon and freshman Julia Kinney got things started in the 7th with doubles scoring the go ahead run. Amber Schrameyer and Mia Wojcik walked loading the bases. Topanga Deon then singled two more runs in making the score 7-4. The Pilgrims allowed one Lancer run in the 8th to make the final score 7-5 in favor of Plymouth. Mia Wojcik had a two run homer for the Pilgrims. Savannah Weston also had a run scoring hit in the game. Allmon pitched a complete game striking out six and walking just one to pick up the victory. The Pilgrims finish their regular season Friday night hosting Culver Academy in Centennial Park. Start time is set for 4:45 p.m.
