The Mt Carmel Baseball Golden Aces jumped out to a 5-0 lead after just three innings and went on to beat the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians 10-3.
The hosts scored 10 runs on 7 hits and committed 2 errors while the Tribe scored 3 runs on 7 hits and made 1 error. Emery Ivers started and went only 2 innings to take the loss. Jack Patterson and Maddox Pargin also pitched. Pargin had 3 hits on the day while Ivers and Neilan Bickers each had a hit and RBI and Boston Gray drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
The Tribe is now 2-1-1 on the season and will travel to Flora for JV play Tuesday and to Hutsonville for Varsity play Wednesday.
