The win drought continued for the Lawrenceville baseball Indians Thursday as they dropped a 13-3 6-inning Little Illini Conference (LIC) contest to the Casey-Westfield Warriors at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The visitors took control of the game with 6 runs in the top of the third inning. Casey scored 13 times on 12 hits with no errors while the Tribe was held to 3 runs on only 2 hits and committed 2 errors.
Emery Ivers blasted a two-run homer for the Indians and Lane Jackson drove in a run while Liam Morey had the other Indian hit on the day.
Lawrenceville has lost 9 games in a row and are now 2-14 overall and 0-6 in conference play.
